Purlins in this solution only balance the forces transferred from the pneumatic sheathings, which are self-supporting and stabilise the whole structure.
Additionally, the air-filled sheathing provides excellent thermal insulation and distinctive bulges prevent the formation of snowdrift. If the side sheathing is made of composite panels with polyurethane core, halls with pneumatic sheathing can be successfully used as fixed structures.
A tremendous advantage of this solution is the minimum assembly time and lack of foundations.
